  • What is Simplified Tuition Rate?

    A flat tuition rate per semester credit hour based on residency with fewer fees.

  • When will the new rates start?

    Fall 2024 Semester

  • What are the new tuition rates?
    • In-District ($164 per credit hour) includes Hidalgo and Starr County residents.
    • Out-of-District ($174 per credit hour) includes all other Texas residents.
    • Non-Resident ($254 per credit hour) includes all other United States and International Students.
  • Are there any other fees?
    • Additional $75.00 fee per credit hour for Nursing and Allied Health courses.
    • Special Program Fees: Architectural & Engineering Design Technology, Automotive Technology, Construction Supervision, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Electrician Technology, Fire Science, HVAC-R, Law Enforcement, Nursing and Allied Health programs, Technology programs and Welding.
    • Incidental fees, including 3rd attempt fee, developmental studies courses (> 18 credit hours) and other non-course related incidental fees such as parking permits and late payment fees.
