Emergency Loans

Emergency Loans are short-term loans that must be repaid by the scheduled due date(s).

Loan Types:

  • Textbook Loan is a short-term loan to pay for textbooks.
  • Tuition & Fee Loan is a short-term loan to pay for current semester Tuition & Fees.

Eligibility:
Current term needs to be:

  • Paid in full OR,
  • Enrolled in an Installment Plan OR,
  • Financial Aid was awarded but was not enough to issue book money

Application Process:

  • Must be registered for classes.
  • Complete an Emergency Loan application at the Cashiers Office.

Eligibility:

  • Must be registered for a minimum of 3 credit hours.
  • Complete the Emergency Loan Application and Promissory Note.
  • Initial down payment is due at the time of application (Percentage due consists of tuition and fees and/or "A" fees, nursing related fees and exams) plus
    • Other non-deferrable fees

Apply in-person only at the Cashiers Office.

Other due dates

Student is responsible for 100% of tuition and fees if Emergency Loan Funds are not available
