STC Purchasing is moving to the OpenGov system for publishing solicitations, and receiving vendor responses.

Register with OpenGov

The South Texas College Purchasing Department has partnered with OpenGov, a web-based solicitation and vendor management system. During the transition period, we will continue to accept paper-based submittals for requests for proposals, qualifications and quotes.

With the new eProcurement Portal, you can:

  • Register and select the “Subscribe” button to create an account, which will get you started in receiving the College’s solicitation notifications via email.
  • After you are registered, you will have access to opportunities with the option to select a specific solicitation by clicking the “Follow” button. This will also automatically provide you with all the selected solicitations’ amendments and/or addenda.
  • All solicitation questions are submitted online and responded to online promptly for all open solicitations.
  • This system provides an electronic guided process for completing and submitting solicitations. It also ensures that all your proposal documents are submitted complete.
  • Purchasing will have one online deposit location for all solicitation opportunities issued for the College.
  • This eProcurement Portal is completely free to register and use.

Once you sign up, OpenGov will send you an email to activate your account. Please check your inbox (and spam folder, just in case).

South Texas College uses the National Institute for Government Procurement (NIGP) Commodity Codes, so we recommend reviewing the instructions for setting up your category codes and preferences.
