Office of Institutional Equity

The Office of Institutional Equity exists to foster an environment of respect, diversity, inclusivity and equity for all students, faculty, staff, and members of the campus community. OIE assists the College in its compliance with laws such as Title IX of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act, as well as other state and federal laws and regulations related to diversity, inclusion and equity. OIE also assists the College develop and implement relevant College policies and procedures, such as the College’s prohibition against discrimination based on race, color, national origin, ethnicity, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, gender expression, pregnancy, pregnancy status, disability, genetic information,  veteran status. OIE offers training and education corresponding to its various programs to students, faculty, staff and members of the community.
